Zingy Reader: Chrome Extension for OCR and Text-to-Speech
Zingy Reader is a free Chrome extension developed by Zingy Learning. This powerful tool utilizes optical character recognition (OCR) to extract English text from images. With Zingy Reader, users can select text and have it read out loud or translated.
While the extension is primarily designed for Zingy Learning content, it is also compatible with many other websites. The selection feature allows users to extract up to 200 characters from images.
Please note that the text select tool of Zingy Reader only works when a single browser window is open. Opening multiple windows may result in the tool not functioning properly.
